(DENVER, Colo.) The City of Denver often celebrates many holidays, and as Star Wars Day approaches, local restaurants, breweries and painting studios are hosting events to celebrate the epic space saga.

With COVID-19 canceling and postponing events from concerts and festivals to sports games, it can be difficult to find something entertaining to take part in. Nevertheless, here is a list of Denver establishments that the force is strong with this Star Wars Day:

  • The Monkey Barrel (4401 Tejon St, Denver) - Star Wars Trivia // The Dark Side vs The Force

Neighborhood beer bar, The Monkey Barrel, is holding a Star Wars Trivia competition hosted by Exacilbur Mobile Entertainment from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with a live host and DJ, a Star Wars-themed drink menu and a costume contest. Those who place 1st through 4th in the contest will win prizes including movie passes, official Star Wars merchandise and more.

The trivia competition will consist of two teams, the dark side and the force, who will answer questions from the entirety of the nine-episode saga, The Mandalorian and a couple of surprise questions reserved for die-hard Star Wars fans. Tables that are reserved are required to participate and can seat a maximum of 5 people per table and team due to COVID-19 restrictions.
