SAINT LOUIS, MO – The downtown of St. Louis is one of the places that you may want to explore. You can sightsee the city and stroll around at the nearest public sphere to create a memorable journey during your visit to St. Louis. You may also visit the neighborhood to explore the hidden gems there.

One of the best neighborhoods to visit is Central West End. At this spot, you will get a chance to feel the ambiance of Eat, Play, and Shop in just one step. There are lamp posts, flowers, and stunning historical architecture as if we are in the 1904 World’s Fair in the Forest Park.

Central West End is pedestrian-friendly, where you can visit one of the restaurants, bars, and businesses that may suit your itinerary lists by walking and enjoying the scenery of the neighborhood. This spot is located between Forest Park and the St. Louis University Campus. From the city, take the MetroLink light rail to the Central West End Station.

During your visit to this spot, you can mingle at the street-side patios next to antique stores, sip a whiskey, and take pictures at the largest chess piece that is located at the outside of the World Chess Hall of Fame. You may also find some restaurants that feature sushi, crawfish, tacos, burgers, and more for your tummies. Aside from those spots, visit the bar at Mandarin Lounge or take the to the downstairs to join Club Viva and learn how to salsa dance with others.

Furthermore, you can enjoy the live music performance every Friday night outside the Coffee Cartel, taste the delicious ice cream from Jeni’s, buy some gifts at Q Boutique, visit the nearest bookstore at Left Banks, and many more.

During the Fall season, Central West End will conduct a Halloween street party with a kid and dog costume parade. There are food trucks as well from local restaurants that will serve the best food and beverage to all customers.
