ST. LOUIS, MO – The Saint Louis Science Center has monthly programs and events one of them is the First Fridays. First Fridays is an event for kids and teens to enjoy and geek out with the Science Center to learn and experience the real science behind science fiction. The First Friday is a monthly event held every first Friday of the month.
First Fridays will offer kids and teens different kinds of themes of hands-on activities, pub-style trivia, presentations, photo ops for showing your costumes accompanied with food and drink specials.
The featured event for the First Fridays on August 6 is the new Marvel’s Black Widow premiere showing in the Science Center’s OMNIMAX at 4.45 p.m. or 7.20 p.m. As well as a special presentation at 6 p.m. from Dr. Dan Yezbick with the topic of “The Origins and Evolution of Black Widow.”

If you are looking for other activities to participate don’t miss these two insightful events: Brain Games and Planetarium Show: Science of the Zodiac.
Brain Games will take place in the Energy Stage/LL at 4 p.m. this event will give you the chance to learn the science behind perception, how we form memories, and how brains work while seeing and thinking others.
Meanwhile the Planetarium Show: Science of the Zodiac will start at 4.30 p.m. at the Planetarium/2. See and learn how the twelve constellations of the zodiac are so popular and what makes their patterns different from other stars. Purchase tickets here.
Other events you can join on the First Fridays include Campus Wide Escape from the Red Room at 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Live Trivia at 5 p.m. to test your knowledge of science, technology, and popular culture. Join and gather points to win prizes.
