Saint Louis University's Billikens will play in the 2021 Cancun Challenge

ST. LOUIS, MO – Saint Louis University Billikens men's basketball team will participate in the 2021 Cancun Challenge on November 23 – 24 that will take place at the Hard Rock Rivera Maya, Mexico.

This is the second time Billikens is participating in Cancun Challenge, and the third time playing a tournament on the Yucatan Peninsula. In the 2013 Cancun Challenge, SLU went 3-1 and 1-2 in the 2010 Cancun Governor's Cup.

On Tuesday, November 23, the Billikens' first match-up will play against Illinois State at 7.30 p.m. The following day.

On Wednesday, November 24, evening, SLU Billikens will play a match against either Buffalo or Stephen F. Austin. The gameplay that takes place in Mexico will be broadcasted nationally on CBS Sports Network.

Before attending the Cancun Challenge on Saturday, November 20, Saint Louis University will host a Mercer at their Chaifetz Arena as part of the exempt tournament.

The games in Mexico will occur in a modified Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya ballroom. The teams and their supporters will stay on the property. The gameplay will be limited, seating, all fans that are participating must book travel packages through Triple Crown Sports for admissions. The travel packages are the only way to get seating into the game.
