Southampton County native, Stephanie Ellsworth (lovingly called Steph) released a new publication titled "What's Done In the Dark" on February 1, 2023. This particular novel has been a work in progress since 2016 undergoing multiple revisions, edits, proofreading sessions, & changes in the book cover during the ongoing writing process.
While this novel is a newly released publication, Authoress/Blogger Steph is no stranger to writing or publishing books. Her author journey began in 2016 when she published her first book titled, "Love: Organized Choas (A Nickname for Pain)" which became available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, & other retail distribution centers. "Organized Choas" is a poetry book that describes the journey of love in poetry form. It embraces the sweetness & the bitterness of love; composed of 3 parts: Love is a beautiful thing, Love Hurts, and Free Yourself.
Following the release of her 1st book, she was allowed the opportunity to host her 1st book signing at Chesapeake Square Mall in the indie book store, Urban Moon Bookstore (owned by Author Fanita "Moon" Pendleton").
The love for reading & support from readers fueled Steph's desire to continue writing & publishing books. Several titles followed the 1st book including, "Church Folks," "Every Day I'm Black," "It Only Takes a Little to Say A Lot," & "I Am Woman: The Naked Truth." Books signings have been held at The Book Exchange in both Norfolk,VA & Va Beach, VA.
