Power up with Denny's Breakfast

Reboot your soul with a full breakfast while visiting Downtown Maine. Denny's is located at 120 Haskell Road, Bangor, Maine. Eat in or take out some unique American breakfast foods at this location in Bangor.

One of my all-time Denny’s favorites is the Philly Cheesesteak Omelets made with three eggs, dices prime rib, fire-roasted bell peppers & onions, sautéed mushrooms, and melted Swiss cheese. Plated with Denny’s hash browns and toast or a choice of bread.

All my kids love the Salted Caramel & Banana Cream Pancake Breakfast, two eggs any style, two strips of bacon or sausage, and seasonal fruit, which we usually get on Sunday after church.

They have vegetarian options and wi-fi for the kids, so they won’t get bored waiting for breakfast and drive you crazy. This Denny’s location has an overall 3.5 out of 5 stars. Out of 154 reviewers, 109 rated it either very good or excellent.

JeffnHeather04401 said, Food is always great, and the kitchen staff is awesome, always laughing and singing. Definitely a great experience.

Denny’s is open Monday thru Thursday from 7 am to 8 pm, Saturdays from 6 am to 10 pm, and on Sundays from 6 am to 8 pm.

Dysart's Restaurant Broadway

Dysart's Restaurant is just off I-95, whose typical clientele are truckers, so you will get a big breakfast and an endless cup of coffee or tea. Their big breakfast plate is enormous! Dysart’s will give you more than you can eat at a very reasonable price for the entire family, like every truck stop where you've ever eaten.

Dysart's is located at 1110 Broadway I-95 Exit 185, Bangor, ME. Open 24 hours as you would expect from any truck stop.

Sclawgirl2016 says, Just flew into Bangor for the day. This was suggested by the Air B&B where I am staying. Excellent little diner.

Bagel Central

Bagel Central, located at 33 Central Street in downtown Bangor is one of the most talked about breakfast spots in downtown Bangor. You’re going to love it. They make everything from scratch using high-quality, fresh ingredients.

I love their spinach and feta omelet, which is always served with a bagel and creamed cheese, with a bowl of oatmeal with raisins and nuts on the side. My partner always has the Egg Special with two eggs scrambled light, a bagel with cream cheese, and oatmeal pancakes. But whatever breakfast you choose, it will be up before you can finish that first coffee or tea.

Call (207) 947-1654 to get a head start on your breakfast, or order online. Gluten-free is always available from Udi’s. Bagel Central is open Monday through Friday from 6 am to 6 pm and Saturday & Sunday from 6 am to 2 pm.

Quick stops for coffee, tea, and a quick bite

When your day has you in a hurry, you might not have time for a sit-down breakfast. That’s when you need a place like Tim Horton’s or Dunkin’ Donuts.

Tim Hortons

Tim Hortons is a Canadian franchise available in many locations around Maine. In Bangor, they’re located at 309 Odlin Road and 594 Broadway. In Brewer, they’re at 394 Wilson St. Call (207) 989-6319.

With Tim Hortons, whether using the drive-thru or dining-in, you get a great cup of coffee and quick eats. The drive-thru is open from 5 am to 7 pm, so you can grab coffee and breakfast on the way to work.

This Tim Hortons location has an overall 4.5 out of 5 stars. Out of 96 reviewers, 85 rated it either very good or excellent.

Janet R. on Trip Advisor says, Strategically located among several hotels and a convenience store, Tim Hortons offers consistently excellent coffee to anyone who might have been disappointed by what their hotel had to offer. Easy to find, just off Exit 182B from I-95, on the way to the airport.

Dunkin' Donuts

Dunkin’ is a New England staple for coffee and donuts, like Starbucks is in many other places in the world, as Wawa is around South Jersey and Philadelphia, or Tim Hortons to Canadians, though many around Bangor like those too.

My favorite quick breakfast from Dunkin’ is two bacon-topped pieces of Avocado sourdough toast with Everything Bagel seasonings and, of course, a signature cup of coffee with a shot of Espresso to kick things up a notch.

Hunnybear15 says, I seek out every Dunkin donuts coffee shop in every part of every state I travel. Love, love, love their coffee. Breakfast is awesome too.

This Dunkin’ location at 394 Odlin Road is open from 4 am to 9 pm daily (though there are ten or more locations around Bangor, this one is on the way to the airport). Call 207-942-8150.

If you want a big breakfast for you and the family but don’t want to cook, head out to one of these locations in Bangor to have an excellent breakfast!
