Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Recording Studio and Town Tour

This week we head south to Alabama to kick off a three-stop music tour. First stop: Muscle Shoals! If you're a fan of music from the 60s and 70s, you've probably heard of the Muscle Shoals sound. Everyone from Wilson Pickett to Aretha Franklin, The Rolling Stones to Cher came to this small town in Alabama to capture the magic of the sound that came from the two major studios here. Massive hits were recorded here. We took a tour of Muscle Shoals Sound and Stephen got play the drum kit there, in the same spot where Charlie Watts recorded The Rolling Stones' hit "Brown Sugar!" And of course we indulged in some food! 🌎🌍 OUR FAVORITE TRAVEL RESOURCES: This site includes affiliate links. If you purchase anything through these affiliated links, we may earn a commission.
