Camping in Joshua Tree With Our Dogs

It's Andie's first time camping! We take the dogs through the iconic Joshua Tree National Park, minding the rules as we go (of course!) and exploring the sites that are more easily accessible from the areas that permit pets. They're so great to travel with, and we were surprised how well they took being surrounded by coyotes! We didn't see them, as it was dark, but at one point in the night there was a chorus of howling from all sides. Stephen and I were a little freaked out, but the dogs were completely unfazed. We visited the Hall of Horrors, Skull Rock, the Oasis of Mara, Cholla Garden, and other sites; camped at Ryan Camp site #29, and managed to avoid anything too scary like scorpions and rattlesnakes. | NEWSLETTER: ๐Ÿ’Œ Get our weekly newsletter for all the latest and help us plan our adventures! | OUR BLOG AND FAVORITE TRAVEL RESOURCES: โœˆ๏ธ
