What to expect at the 99th Windsor Harvest Festival

WINDSOR, CO – The Town of Windsor’s favorite annual event is right around the corner. This year, Windsor Harvest Festival is celebrating its 99th year, starting Saturday, September 4, through Monday, September 6.

Windsor just released its August edition of Windsor Matter which includes the full schedule of the festival. So, here is a little run-through of what to expect at the 99th Windsor Harvest Festival.

On the first day, the festival will start with Hot Air Balloon Launch from 6:30 am to 8 am, at the Eastman Park. Several hot air balloons will be launched into the sky if the weather permitting. After that, the residents can enjoy fresh produce and unique products at Farmers Market from 9 am to 1 pm.

The fun continues with Retro Eighties Tribute Band that will hit the stage at 6 pm to 9 pm. The first day will be closed with Windsor Harvest Festival Fireworks from 9:05 pm to 9:20 pm, at the Boardwalk Park.

On the second day, the car enthusiasts can enjoy the Windsor Cruise-In Car Show at the Eastman Park, from 10 am to 2 pm. For those who need a little boost during the festival, they can enjoy variety of beverages at the Beer Garden from 12 pm to 5 pm.

Lastly on the second day, there will be Vintage Baseball Game at the Eastman Park that will start at 2 pm.

On the last day of the festival, there will be Harvest Festival Parade starting at 9 am. Residents can bring their own lawn chair and claim a spot along the route of the parade. The parade will start at Walnut to 7th Street, then to the Eastman Park Drive where the parade ended.
