Paradeco coffee Roasters is located at 111 2nd Avenue Northeast in downtown St. Pete. After over a year of planning, designing, permitting, and construction, Thomas Maloney and Sonya Sarkar are finally taking the wraps off of their new 1,700 square foot coffee bar in downtown St. Pete this weekend. Paradeco Coffee Roasters opens tomorrow at 111 2nd Avenue Northeast in the Plaza Tower & Courtyard Shops.

Last week, St. Pete’s Community Redevelopment Agency unanimously approved the three-story building which is being developed by Brad Campbell. Campbell is also developing a similar project at 357 5th Street South which will contain 25 units and ground floor retail space.

Pinellas County has great options outside of downtown St. Pete, such as St. Pete Bagel Co. and Clearwater Bagels, but no dedicated bagel shops currently exist downtown.

After months of discussion, the City has reached a preliminary agreement with Third Lake Partners and Echelon to purchase the existing Municipal Services Center (MSC) located at 1 Fourth Street North and construct a new facility on 2nd Avenue North. The joint venture has proposed purchasing the existing MSC for $12.25 million, which the City will use to fund the construction of the new MSC building .
