Henry County, February 23, 2023– Southern Crescent Women in Business continues to set the standard again with small business and women owned business support by expanding their partnerships and collaborations. The first entity in South Atlanta to sign a Strategic Alliance with the Georgia Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration, is now partnering to provide credit and capital access.
While were only in the second month of 2023, Southern Crescent Women In Business and its founder, Ariel Shaw, MBA has made it a mission to ensure the tenant of “Funding” which rests with the mission of the SCWIB organization does not just stop and end with an event, but instead with a year round partnership. The Southern Crescent Women has signed an agreement with Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs or ACE to align with an established financial institution or CDFI whose goal is to provide microlending to minority and women entrepreneurs. Shaw stated “This is a natural step in what the organization already provides for small and women owned businesses as the number one issue that we see is lack to access to capital.”
In addition to the agreement with ACE, Southern Crescent Women in Business is also partnering with a company to ensure credit restoration is available to those who need that service as well. Shaw adds “We are excited to partner with Ms. Attaway to remove any roadblocks to great personal credit, which only strengthens that small business’ access to financing.” More information is available through the SCWIB website at https://scwibga.org/creditandaccesstocapital.
