The most recent Female Entrepreneurship CoHort for Spring 2022 was met with another kind act from Shaw. Shaw awarded three participants of the CoHort a $1500 Scholarship each to cover their costs, materials and trainings within the Intense 10 Session CoHort. Shaw states “there should be no barriers to women having access to education and information to be better businesswomen and business savvy.”

The 2022 CoHort is in its second year under Southern Crescent Women in Business and was designed after the pandemic revealed a lack in proper foundation among many minority owned businesses. Ariel Shaw, MBA designed the CoHort in its entirety and have been asked to participate in the design of other local cohorts. Shaw is a consultant by trade and has been influential in creating multiple business throughout Georgia and South Carolina.
