Weekend Southern California Storm Strengthening in Values

Southern California Weather Force

The previous article (click here) mentioned of the weekend storm system that will move into Southern California. This system as of this morning has strengthened more than initially projected.

The latest from the Southern California Weather Force Precipitation Risk model is showing an increase to high risk across San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Western Ventura County while expanding the moderate through the Inland Empire west through the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valley areas as well. Trends are getting stronger with this storm. Remember, warmer to start, but crashing snow-levels later Sunday into early Monday.

I will have the entire forecast suite with models and a link to the images of those models tomorrow (Friday) morning for rain, snow, and wind.

With the cold air aloft moving in later Sunday, it is possible for thunderstorms to develop in the forecast area.  I'll try to pinpoint it a bit more as Friday morning comes along with the final forecast numbers, before I have to leave on business up north for the weekend.  All sectors will be taken care of, and all precipitation and snowfall models will be updated in the member sections, along with images being released to you.

So, stay tuned to Southern California Weather Force for the latest official watches, advisories, alerts, and forecasts
