Robert Sylvester Kelly, an American singer, composer, and record pror, and is now a convicted sex offender. R. Kelly’s siblings are not satisfied with the 30-year prison verdict their brother obtained in June for racketeering and sex trafficking, and they declare that racism played a major role.
BET+ reported that the sister triad (Cassandra, Theresa, and Lisa Kelly) seated with Good Morning Britain to support the R&B artist, stating he did nothing wrong and wouldn’t have a reason to.
“African Americans have always been treated unfairly,” Cassandra said. “So I think that, that has a lot to do with it as well as other factors.”
Kelly’s sister, Lisa, says he’s been with younger women “but as far as underage girls, no. And I stress girls — underage girls, who has seen that? I’m not gonna acknowledge something that I don’t have proof of. If there is a victim, I’ll acknowledge. But from what I’ve seen in court and from what I’ve studied and from what I’ve read the only victim I see that’s been stolen from, lied on is Robert. ”
According to BET+, earlier this month, Kelly was moved from a federal Brooklyn jail back to Chicago before his appearance on trial for child pornography and obstruction-of-justice charges. This was just short of two weeks after the walk-of-shame musician was given his 30-year ruling in June.
The Sun reported that after the jury's ruling, women's rights attorney Gloria Allred, a representative of many of Kelly's preys, depicted the artist as "the worst sexual predator she had pursued in her 47-year career of practicing law."
