Dunkin' Donuts is facing many hardships and angry customers this morning, SSS learned yesterday Sunday, December 5 that the popular Donut shop was unable to serve Donuts due to its baker quitting at the last minute.
Employees at the 2002 Yale location worked frantically to explain the shortage as online orders buzzed into the system and door dasher filed into the lobby for delivery and pick-up.
"Our baker quit this morning. Yall will have to contact the customer and let the know they will be receiving a refund through Doordash for their purchase. " -Employee
Many customers questioned how such a busy location could have only one baker while the mass majority of customers argued that the restaurant was responsible for updating their menu o line.
"I simply wanted to order Donuts for my coworkers and now I have to wait five to seven business days just for a freaking refund. This is ridiculous when Shipley is just up the street." - Rebecca, customer
