R. Kelly's girlfriend Joycelyn Savage's parents are calling out for his entourage of enablers to step back so they can communicate with their daughter.
Joycelyn's parents, Timothy and Jonjelyn Savage reportedly told TMZ that in spite of Kelly's incarceration and him anticipating a sentence, they have still been met with obstacles when it comes to speaking to their child. Her parents allege that the only means of communication they have been granted are messages through the singer's camp. Unfortunately, her grandfather and most recently her grandmother passed away due to cancer, tragic events the family has yet to share with Joycelyn.
TMZ reported that the Savages had been relentlessly trying to communicate and reunite with Joycelyn since the September hearing that found Kelly guilty of his federal sex crimes charges. As you may recall, Joycelyn decided to stand beside R. Kelly through thick and thin and even engaged in a physical altercation with his now ex-GF, Azriel Clary. Azriel decided to leave Kelly and cooperate with the federal investigation which infuriated Joycelyn.
You may recall TMZ breaking the story of Joycelyn's mother approaching her after R. Kelly's trial as she was leaving a court for the supposed attack on Azriel.mJonjelyn begged to speak to her daughter to no avail. Momentarily, Joycelyn's parents have a clear message for their daughter and Kelly's squad. They desperately are begging for her to return home to her family and believe that this should be easy for her since the legendary singer is behind bars.
