I had an amazing time at Denver Art Museum with my friends. I love museums and had such high hopes for this one. What we saw was great. I have to say we were shocked to see such high class for this museum, it was unexpected. Was not expecting such prominence of the world-renowned artist (Monet, Degas, Van Gogh, Cezanne…). I was blown away by the pink universe exhibit and the Paris to Hollywood exhibit featuring Veronique Peck’s fashion, it was stunning for me particularly as a fashion lover.
This building is a quite gorgeous, very interesting design. The interior is a cool space, great light. It's not a massive amount of work on display at the moment although I know they are expanding and opening some new galleries. The collection normally is quite sizeable and covers 4 floors of exhibits, but due to the COVID closures, only the second-floor exhibits are currently open. They are opening the other section, in October after renovation. They also have a cool big gift shop, which has a plethora of cool trinkets and art with lots of great items for souvenirs or gifts.
The museum has done a great job of timing guests coming in and out. Everybody was distanced. If you're in the area check out what the exhibits are. Go and see what they have at this museum. I don’t recommend this place for small children/toddlers.
