This is one of the best parks in Denver. I live nearby and enjoy the 10-minute walk over with my dog. This large park is well maintained and located in the heart of the DTC. The north side has an overlook of the local buildings along with picnic tables to rest at. This park is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood and offers dog lovers/runners a great place to hang out. The grounds are immaculate and are a pleasure to visit. There is a Big wheel, cricket ground, football pitches, basketball court, indoor tennis courts, children's play area, bandstand, duck pond, toilets, and car parking.
My favorite time of year is in the fall when the park shows off some yellow and red. This is a hidden gem unknown to many except those of us in the neighborhood. Give it a try once.
They have a decent number of picnic tables where you don't feel like your on top of other people, a great place to have a picnic or hang out!
