A Long and fun-filled day, full of excitement at the Denver zoo.

A trip to Denver Zoo was a wonderful day out with our kids. We had a fun time leisurely strolling around and admiring all of the animals. The railroad was the only attraction that we noticed was closed. General admission is $20 per adult and $14 for kids. Parking is free. Before actually going there, I found their app that I downloaded. It had lots of information about the zoo and a virtual map of where the animals, restrooms, and restaurants were located. This helped us a lot. Tickets are available at the entrance gate but it's recommended to purchase online to maintain social distancing.

Cash is not accepted as a form of payment so make sure to bring a credit card. Food and beverage options were plentiful, and we always had a snack or drink in our hands. The staff was really friendly and happy to answer my 6-year-old son's questions. The zoo takes covid prevention seriously. We saw so many animals that were pretty active and fun to watch! My son loved seeing so many of them but especially the elephants and monkeys. It took us five hours to visit this zoo and our kids loved it.
