ATLANTA, GA — Worksource Fulton is offering free career services with their Mobile Career Center. They will drive a bus around Greater Atlanta, offering assistance to people on a job hunt.

This program is targeted towards unemployed or underemployed individuals. Specifically, those who may or may not be impacted by the adverse effect of the COVID-19 pandemic. This program is an effort to bring the labor force back to work.

The program is offering assistance in job search, resume writing, job training, and digital literacy training. They will also provide information on job postings and virtual job fairs, and possible connections.

They also provide wi-fi, computer stations, and printing capabilities for participants free of charge.

This bus will arrive on-site every Wednesday of every week. Excluding the fourth and fifth Wednesday of the month.

The bus will be in Atlanta at College Park Marta Station on the first week. They will also be in Atlanta on the second week, but the location will change to the Goodwill Career Center. On the third and last Wednesday of the month, they will be in Roswell at Roswell United Methodist Church.

Their nearest event will be held this Wednesday on July 14 from 9am - 3:30pm Interested participants must go to Goodwill Career Center at 6175 Old National Highway, South Fulton, GA 30349.

Visit here for more information: https://selectfultoncounty.com/mobilecareercenter. Or email Workforce Division Manager Brett Lacy, at brett.lacy@fultoncountyga.gov.

This program is an effort to bring back service by bringing them closer to the people. Instead of having them travel far to their site. Just like their previous program, One-Stop Centers now closed to the public.
