ATLANTA, GA — Uptown Atlanta is holding a weekly outdoor “Yoga on The Lawn” class. The classes are led by Priscila Baptista, a local certified yoga teacher from Catalyst Fitness in Buckhead.

The class has been going on for months now. It started on April 21 and will end on July 28. It is held every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Uptown Atlanta, 2400 Garson Drive Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30324.

Participants do not need a ticket to participate. The classes are free, but an RSVP is required. The classes may be canceled in instances of bad weather, but participants will be informed by noon on the day of the class through an email.

Even though the classes begin at 6:30 p.m., participants may check in at 6 p.m. The class will not provide a yoga mat. Thus, all participants must bring their own. Participants are required to wear masks at least until they are positioned in their designated spot.

Uptown Atlanta is also hosting a few other programs. They have Movies on The Lawn and Laughs On The Lawn.

Uptown Atlanta invites anyone to watch a movie under the evening sky with their "Movies on The Lawn". The event is held every Saturday at around 7:30 p.m. Their nearest event is on July 3 with the movie “Forest Gump”. The event is free but participants will need an RSVP.

Laughs on The Lawn is a free comedy night event with performances by 1Up Comedy. This program will end this month after going on since May. This last event will be held on July 29 from 6: p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Uptown Atlanta.
