Try the Dodgers Style Sticky Chicken Recipe!

Ingredients:

8-skin-on bone-in chicken thighs

Kosher salt

Black pepper

1-tablespoon granulated garlic

Smoked paprika

Cayenne pepper

Brown sugar

Olive oil

Onion, Garlic

Water

Apple juice

Chicken stock

Tomato paste

Red pepper flakes

Steps

Step 1

Combine chicken, salt, pepper, granulated garlic, paprika, cayenne, and brown sugar. Let chicken marinate for 2-4 hours, covered, in the refrigerator.

Step 2

Heat a large skillet over medium-high and put in olive oil. Add the chicken to the skillet and sear for 5 minutes. Remove the chicken and let it rest on a plate.

Step 3

Add olive oil in a pan and saute onions, now add garlic and saute them together.

Step 4

Add water to the pan. Then add the apple juice, stock, tomato paste, crushed red pepper. Return the chicken to the pan and let it simmer and boil.

Step 5

Turn off the heat and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes. Serve with chicken toppings and remaining sauce.
