Former Dudamel Tiyani Lu will lead a blazing performance at the Hollywood Bowl. The program will include all-time favorite pictures of Mussorgsky at the exhibition. It will be Ravel's dazzling orchestra. It is the world premiere of fanfare by Ricardo Molla.
The premiere is a dedication to the LA Phil’s brass and percussion sections. It is a new Trumpet Concerto by acclaimed composer Thea Musgrave, played by one of the world’s leading trumpeters, Alison Balsom. The program kicks off at the Hollywood Bowl.
