AmericaFest at the Rose Bowl Stadium is an explosive celebration of all things red, white, and blue. It is one of the biggest shows in Los Angeles. The fireworks typically start at 9 pm, but the Rose Bowl stadium opens its doors quite early on Independence Day.
The AmericaFest usually begins with a kid-friendly carnival, followed by an in-stadium program. The in-stadium program includes motocross and a tribute to the JPL. You can get the parking spot for a whopping amount of $45, but it's all worth the event.
If you don't want to get in the stadium, no worries, the celebration is visible along the Colorado Street Bridge and the neighborhoods west of the 210 and, distantly, from parking garage rooftops in Old Pasadena. The event takes place on July 4, and you can get the tickets for $25 to $40.
