Cuyama Buckhorn is the perfect dessert weekend getaway!45rfc

The roadside resort built in 1952 with a desert view in Joshua Tree is a magical getaway with family and friends. I was lucky to find this desert resort with a little less crowd and a lot of peace.

They have remodeled the guest rooms like a mid-century cowboy with rustic woods. The rugs are beautiful black and white patterned that cover the entire floor, giving the whole room an elegant look. I also got linen towels and bathing products from Buzzy. I was glad to come across the mini bar with snacks and local drinks.

The Inn also has a restaurant, and they serve some tasty and affordable snacks. I had smoked pulled pork tacos and Caesar chilaquiles. There is a coffee shop adjoining serving some lip-smacking pastries and fresh margaritas. I had a fun time at the resort, as there are so many things to do like swim, sauna or laze around the pool.

I took a hike in the picturesque Alison park. I had a tour of the Condor's Hope Winery. I must say the Cuyama Buckhorn is quite expensive but worth every penny. I got a single room for $299 for a night. This resort is a retreat with a peculiar view and pure desert relaxation.
