Experience A Near Perfect Thai Food Experience Outside Thailand In Your Own Neighborhood!

Have you heard of the place where a few vendors sell quality Thai foods in the shadow of a Buddhist temple? If not, then have a little look at it right here right now!

Wat Thai Temple Food Market is a weekend-only food market located in the parking lot of the Wat Thai Temple. It is a food market buzzing with visitors and vendors selling pad thai, mango and sticky rice, papaya salad, and much more. The pleasant aroma of noodles frying in the curry paste, fish sauce and sweet grilling meat would make you want to try out and experience the magnificence of the Thai foods on offer.

The vendors at the market don’t carry cash and you would have to exchange money into plastic tokens that are equal to $1 or $2. I don’t know why is it so, but it is what is.

The market was originally set up in the ’80s, however, it was shut in 2007 due to surging complaints from the neighbourhood regarding the cleanliness of the area. Although good thing is that the market was set up once again in 2015 and is rolling nicely ever since.

The best thing that I find about the market is that it literally feels as if you are in Bangkok. The atmosphere of the street, the magical aroma of Thai foods, the taste of the foods on offer; everything makes up for a near-perfect experience outside of Thailand.

Wat Thai Temple Food Market is seriously an amazing place to visit and experience Thailand like street food experience!
