Horror Movies & The Paranormal... It's The Best of Both Worlds

The 3 day Haunted Horror Film & Paranormal Investigation Festival will be held at a real haunted house, The Cambre House, in the picturesque town of Nauvoo, Illinois and runs Friday October 8 - Sunday October 10, and combines horror film festival and the world of the paranormal.

The property boasts more than 20 secluded acres overlooking the Mississippi River and historic Mormon Springs, a natural mineral spring. The house is on the National Historic National Historic Register of Historic Places, built in 1867 by French Icarian cabinet maker, Adolphe Cambre.

Built on a limestone bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, with a mineral spring running underneath the property, we have a trifecta of energy! There is an overwhelming sense of peace here with a many layered history from Indians, a stagecoach route, and an unmarked grave.

Have you ever wondered what happens at Cambre House after it gets dark? Now is your chance to find out.
