Brandon Barash: Father’s Day
“Joaquin Lee Barash arrived on the planet on 9.15.23,” Barash posted. He added a photo in the Instagram post, which can be seen below, that Joaquin weighed in at 7 lbs. and 5 oz. He measured 19 1/2 inches at birth.
“A mighty name for a mighty boy…to honor my (departed but never gone) father, Jerry Lee Barash, as well as my wife’s Hispanic heritage. We. Are. Smitten…and forever changed. Through your birth, lil man, we are reborn. Our family is mightier, our ocean of love runs deeper and more fierce. School’s back in session.”
Barash recently remembered his own father, Jerry, whom he lost in December of 2017, on Father’s Day of this year with a post tinged with the excitement of the baby’s birth. The actor wrote on Twitter, “Pop and Harper, you made a man outta me. Isa, thank you for making me a father once again. No role I play will ever usurp that of being a father. Pop, hope the chips are stacked high in your favor up there.”
