Sanity is slipping in Salem these DAYS.
Days of our Lives has a tendency to go over the top regularly. This is the show with the Devil, aliens, a back from the dead island, and Gwen as a journalist.
Days of our Lives Polling
So nothing surprises viewers. But what’s been the craziest thing to happen on the Peacock soap opera most recently? Soap Hub asked fans what is the craziest thing in Salem, and you didn’t hold back.
DAYS: Gone and Flown
How did Colin (Jasper Newman) manage to escape police custody, 12% of you wonder? Wasn’t he handcuffed to the bed? Wasn’t there a guard outside? Just how incompetent is the Salem Police Department?
Days of our Lives: Triple XXX
We knew Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) would pull some stunt to make it impossible for Eric (Greg Vaughan) to be the father of Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) baby. But we didn’t expect her to submit her own DNA instead. We figured she’d at least pay a bum on the street five bucks to stick that Q-tip in his mouth. Not due to moral reasons, but because wouldn’t a DNA examination notice that they were running a paternity test on someone with two X chromosomes, rather than an XY? And shouldn’t that be a red flag? Or at least a cause for questions, according to 18%.
DAYS: All in the Family
We know Megan (Miranda Wilson) is nuts, 27% venture, but does she really think she can make Dimitri (Peter Porte) marry Kristen (Stacy Haiduk)? We understand her logic. And we realize they are not biologically related. Nonetheless, may we say…ew.
Days of our Lives: Stealing Home
Not only can criminals escape Salem Hospital, but nurses can just snatch patients out of their beds and take them home. Whitley (Kim Coles) kidnapping Abe (James Reynolds) is the nuttiest thing in a while, 43% sigh. And we realize it’s supposed to be funny. But is daytime TV really the right place for cringe comedy? Because if so, we’ve got it!
