Exploring Rodeo Beach in beautiful Marin County

We somewhat "happened" upon Rodeo Beach in Marin County. I had heard of Rodeo beach and the Marin Headlands, yet, despite living all of my 56 years in Northern California, had never been there. So, after a weekend of going to our music events, we searched for a new beach to explore. We were so grateful to end up at Rodeo Beach. It is simply stunning, and if you're in to beach combing, Rodeo Beach is a paradise for that as my wife found out! There are a few trails that take you up to the bluffs above the Pacific Ocean, but we don't hike! We prefer to have our cocktails and a beach chair. That's how we roll. One thing I did not mention in the video, is there is only one restroom, so, if that is important to you because you have kids, park as far north as you can near the main parking lot, otherwise it is a bit of a walk. Once you're done at the beach, be sure to take a drive to Hawk Hill and get incredible views of San Francisco. You won't be disappointed.

Hello, my name is Darin Wissner, and my wife Patti and I travel almost exclusively in our home of Northern California! There is a lot to see in beautiful Northern California. We don't hike, and we don't camp. We prefer more "luxurious" stays, whether it's hotels, Vacation rentals, or glamping. SippyCupAdventures entails: 1) being at a waterway or beach 2) Having cocktails 3) Listening to our favorite music We try and steer clear of: Barking dogs Screaming kids and humans Not that we have anything against dogs, kids, and humans! We just try to be more secluded. Now that we have this opportunity to share with YOU, we will expand our travels to include more details on hotels, beaches, and restaurants in Northern California. We thank you.
