Because I am at a loss
As a writer on this platform in order to be "successful," it behooves me to concentrate on issues that relate to my community. That said, I've lived in Elgin for over twenty years and to me, nothing of any note goes on here unless it's something negative.
So, I am leaving it up to the readership here to tell me what it is you'd most like to read about. For example, are you interested in the Elgin "dining scene?" Because there's precious little of that here and I've already covered it.
What about crime? Yep, we got it. Does that float your boat?
Here, perhaps this makes more sense: What is the Daily Herald failing to cover that you'd like to see here?
This platform's powers that be want their writers to focus on local news, but again, the pickings are slim here in this city of paradoxes.
Food? Recipes? Family-friendly activities? Real estate? I'm at sure service so, please, let your suggestions fly. You'd be doing me a favor.
Thanks for reading.
