New Las Vegas Raiders WR Devante Adams admits in a recent interview that he believed he'd be drafted to the Panthers. He says the team talked to him the most, but ultimately decided to go with big body FSU WR Kelvin Benjamin. If you're a Carolina Panthers fan, you don't need to be told about the team's drafting woes...but sometimes it's interesting to think "what could've been?" Packers fans (and Adams, probably) are pretty happy with the mistake Carolina made though.

Premiere CB talent is hard to come by...that is, unless you're the Eagles. News just came down that the Philly team has locked down another lockdown defender in James Bradberry for the cool price of $10M for 1 year's service. He's a great piece being added to a pretty solid secondary, but this move smells more like a way to box the Cowboys out of that guaranteed playoff berth than a way to set the team for longterm success. That's the kind of pettiness I can get behind though.

Carolina Panthers Trade for DE Daryl Johnson

Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley met in the ring Sunday night in a highly anticipated matchup whose hype before and after the bout ended up overshadowing the fight itself. Woodley seemed unwilling to take a real swing at Paul until it was too late; Jake didn't look anywhere near as skilled as his brother Logan, but ultimately didn't need to as he was the only one in the ring who actually wanted to fight.

Carolina Panthers rookie 2nd round pick WR Terrace Marshall Jr has IMPRESSED in the preseason! With multiple games of eye-popping performances, Marshall has shown he is ready for the big stage of the NFL. That is very good for him because it's very likely he will see nothing but 1v1 coverage since opposing defenses will have to deal with the likes of DJ Moore, Robby Anderson, and Christian McCaffrey as well.

Carolina Panthers Rookie WR Terrace Marshall Jr SHINES in the Preseason

After a grueling training camp and 3 week preseason, it seems the Carolina Panthers have a clear idea of who will be protecting their new QB Sam Darnold. Matt Rhule confirmed that the regular season starting lineup would be the five players who started the final preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers: Cam Erving, Pat Elflein, Matt Paradis, John Miller, and Taylor Moton (from LT to RT).

Carolina Panthers rookie 6th round pick WR Shi Smith suffered a shoulder injury early in the 4th quarter of the team's final preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Initially thought to be something the former Gamecock would bounce back from relatively quickly, the injury will likely keep him out for several weeks. Smith impressed the coaching staff during training camp and the preseason, so his presence will most definitely be missed as the Panthers look to start the 2021 season in just a couple of weeks.
