A book review of Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo's The Hope We Hold.

I just flew through Jill Duggar’s book. It was amazing. Though she has broken free from her family, she still loves her parents and the way that she was raised. She has just found a new way to live.

If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, you can check it out right here.

This made me look toward other Duggars. Jinger was one of my favorites when I watched the show off and on, so I couldn’t wait to pick up her book, The Hope we Hold. I was not disappointed (and I have already bought her next book)!

In it, we hear both sides of the story, Jinger and Jeremy. They start with their childhood, how they met, and how hard Jeremy had to work to have a future with Jinger. They also talk about their experiences in Laredo and what compelled them to move to LA. Included in this book are parts about their honeymoon, finding out they were having a baby, and even dealing with a terrible miscarriage. Jinger even talks about changing her beliefs about what she could wear, and still be a godly woman.

Through all of their stories, one thing rings true. These two are devoted to the Lord and each other. They aren’t afraid to talk about the hard things, because they know that they can get through anything, if they just put Him first. And even in their darkest days, they know that they can count on Him (and each other) to get through them.

Whether you are a fan of this couple, a devout Christian, or someone who just isn’t sure, this book will delight you. You may be amazed to learn how important the scripture is to those who believe, which may also give you hope and a new lease on life!
