Many people live paycheck to paycheck, barely making ends meet. However, as times continue to get tougher, there are many people who simply don’t have enough money at the end of the month. This can be really frustrating, especially as everyday things that you need get more expensive by the day. You may feel like you are falling more and more behind every month!

Unsure if you don’t make enough money? Here are some signs that you may need to find ways to bring in more money every month.

You have to use your credit cards every month. Though you may use your credit cards for the points, there are times when you need to put your regular expenses on your credit card. If you need to use your credit card when you need to get to the grocery store or even for gas, you might have a problem.

Though using it every once in a while isn’t a big deal, especially if you can pay it off at the end of every month, if you are reaching for it regularly, you are going to need some help. It is even worse if your balance continues to go up because you are going to owe more money every month. This only makes the problem worse.

You pick and choose which bills you are going to pay each month. If you have to decide which bills you pay and which ones you wait on, you definitely have a problem when it comes to your money situation. You should have enough money to pay your bills, before you spend any extra!

You feel like your paycheck is already spent before you get it. When you are struggling to pay your bills, you may feel like your paycheck is gone before you even get it. Bills come out and there isn’t anything left over! You may even have to plan out when you pay your bills depending on when you have money coming in.

You have already cut out everything that you could possibly cut. The most common advice given is that you just need to cut back on your spending. However, if you barely spend anything (other than your bills and groceries), there may not be anything else that you can cut out.

You may not have cable. You cook at home instead of going out to eat. You buy one membership for television instead of going out to the movies. You don’t spend anything that you don’t have to, and yet you are still struggling.

An emergency fund sounds wonderful, but you just don’t have enough money to start one. It can be really hard to save up for an emergency fund, especially when you spend every penny that you make. However, if you do find yourself in an emergency, what are you going to do?

Lastly, if you are constantly worried about your money situation, you are in trouble financially. Most people worry about money once in a while. However, if you are losing sleep on a regular basis due to your finances, you need to make some changes. You need to find a way to make some changes so that your health doesn’t suffer from your situation.

Though most people live paycheck to paycheck, others struggle to put food on the table and a roof over their head. And as times continue to get tougher, they are struggling more and more. They simply don’t make enough money for the basics.

Are you in the same boat? Are you reaching for your credit cards so that you can go to the grocery store? Do you need them to put gas in your car? Is your paycheck gone before you even get it? Do you need to pick and choose which bills you pay (and when)? All of these are signs that you don’t have enough money and you need to do something before it gets even worse!
