In Barbara Delinsky’s novel While My Sister Sleeps, we meet Molly and Robin Snow. Robin is the star of the family, always winning races, so the entire family caters to her.
But the one time that Molly isn’t with her sister, she suffers a massive heart attack while out on a run. Her healthy and extremely fit sister may never wake up from her heart attack, which throws the entire family for a loop. Who would have known that Robin would have had a pre-existing heart condition that could have caused this?
Molly feels extreme guilt, and her mother is beside herself. Molly is torn between spending time with her sister and mother while making sure that the family business continues to run as carefully as possible. Eventually the family is going to have to make some difficult decisions, and Molly is going to have to fight for her sister in ways that she never has before.
Whenever you pick up a Delinsky novel, you won’t be disappointed. This one is just like the others. You won’t be able to put it down!
