Megan was happy, as a stay-at-home mom of three little girls, until the unthinkable happens. She stepped inside for a few minutes, only to realize that one of her daughters had disappeared during those few minutes!

Finding Emma starts two years after this event, which forever changed a young family. Megan can’t help but look for her daughter everywhere, even if it means missing out on her other daughters’ lives. They are resentful and don’t feel like she loves them at all! Her husband buries himself in work, though he begs Megan to let it go. The family needs to let it go, in order to heal and begin to live again.

Meanwhile, only a few minutes away, Jack and Dottie raise their granddaughter Emmie. Jack often wonders about Emmie, since Dottie mysteriously showed up with her one day. He also worries about Dottie who struggles with dementia, as her brain fails.

Then the day comes when Megan’s family runs into Jack’s family at a carnival. Megan takes a picture and can’t believe what she sees. However, this is going to change everyone’s lives.

I couldn’t put this book down. In fact, I finished the whole series in one weekend. You won’t be mad when you pick it up and check it out! You will be rushing to get the entire series, so you can find out more about Emma (Emmie) and her two families.
