Just came back from a long and unforgettable journey we had in Dubai and after long research in order to choose this destination, I created a list of the most visited places in the last years.
During this period I found that this Covid-19 has been developing inside of us the "the travelers pandemic".
So many people and so many destinations prove this virus has not quieted our wandering spirit, but raised it to its highest level and made us value this Earth like never before.
It's so nice to let little things impress you, things you'd ignored before, and to realize how lucky we are to get the chance to see all the places and lands we're living on.
Therefore, let me share with you the most visited destinations in the last two years:
Mhm! This Heaven's nest is on the top of the list.
I heard so many things about this amazing Zanzibar!
People loved the experience they had out there, others said it wasn't what they expected, but except this, Zanzibar is still one of the most frequently chosen locations within the traveler's world in the last two years as it has the gates open.
2. The Maldives
Not a surprise!
The Maldives has always been on top of the list of the most visited spots in the world, especially when they reopened borders to all travelers from all countries on July 15, 2020, promising everyone a normal vacation.
The prices to get there may be sometimes exorbitant, but as soon as you get to see the marvel of the Indian Ocean, the perfect beaches and lined palms around the spectacular resorts, luxury hotels set on private islands with rooms over the water, probably you'll forget the next second you've just spent the money you've been saving for a time now.
In these times, I've seen so many articles about this location, and so many social check-ins, posts, and tags so that the moment I used to see an exotic shot I instantly knew it's from the Maldives. That's crazy!
Another spot I've noticed was recently overwhelmed by tourists in Mexico, but I am sure you've probably seen lots of posts taken in Tulum by all the thirsty travel bloggers, right?
The most important advice I could first give you is to make sure to get fully vaccinated as all travelers may be at risk for getting and spreading COVID-19 variants.
4. The Dominican Republic
Note: Make sure you are fully vaccinated before traveling.
Here we are in the middle of the Caribbean, the eastern two-thirds of Hispaniola, and the second-largest diverse country in the region.
The Dominican Republic is the Caribbean's most visited island with millions of travelers from all around the world and you have a great variety of choices from cheaper to luxury resorts, a location for everyone where you could enjoy the incredible beaches with endless soft and white sands, churches and fortresses.
Note: Airports may perform some aleatory quick breath tests. If you are fully vaccinated you may be exempted for the breath rapid test.
It's not a mystery anymore that Egypt is one of my favorite destinations so far.
Here I had the most spectacular experience in my life: from scuba-diving to camel rides and safari journeys, visiting the Giza Pyramid complex and Bedouin's village, and enjoying so impressive resorts in Hurghada.
All of them in just one vacation!
Hope you enjoyed this article and stay tuned to see what destination we have chosen!
