Cava Table is the only Cava Table location apart of the Cava Mezze culinary brand that was birthed between long-time friends Ike Grigoropolous, Ted Xenohristos, and Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. This all-day café is serving curated Mediterranean bowls, salads, pita sandwiches, soups, small bites, tahini shakes, and coffee. I never heard of a Tahini shake until I came here, and my taste buds were pleasantly surprised as it was thick, creamy, and delicious, as you would expect a yummy dairy milkshake to be! An interesting fact is that it also serves as a test location for new menu items being added.

Best Buns has two locations in Northern Virginia: Shirlington [Arlington] and Tyson's Corner. This bakery rings truth to the fact that it is okay to have an indulgent breakfast from time to time and have it worth it. They have many breakfast goodies to include cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, croissants, and muffins. But don't stop there; they also have savory meals to include cold sandwiches, hamburgers and fries, and pasta salads. If you are familiar with the Great American Restaurants such as Coastal Flats, Mikes American Grill, and Sweetwater Tavern, then you must know that this is also affiliated with that name. You will find some similar treats from the restaurants in this bakery as well as other freshly baked staples. Tip: Get there early because they sell out fast.

Bun Papa's name insists they are the papa of buns! Nestled in Alexandria, VA, they are working hard to create hot dogs, burgers, and chicken sandwiches that stand out from other local competitors. The pop-up restaurant is located inside Bread and Water Company and very easy to miss, but don't be mistaken, since they are inside a bakery, you can know for a fact they are making their owns bun for their hot dogs and sandwiches alike. When you walk in you will see a wall full of awards and magazine articles highlighting their menu items. Helpful tips to know are that they begin serving menu items at 3:00pm and there is no inside seating; only a few tables and a small bar top outside. This is a good place to grab and go, or eat outside when the weather is perfect.

Hidden gems have been added to the local food scene in Springfield, VA and this new burger joint is nothing short of what is meant to be on this preferred list of places. Hangry Burger opened it's doors November 2021 and was created by two best friends, Kochi and Julius, who were known for hosting epic BBQ's for their friends; they opened this spot because they wanted to share their passion for making people happy and serving up good eats with the world!

On the menu you will find typical burgers and fries, but you will also discover many interesting and innovative burgers and sides such as Bao Bun Burgers (Seoul Mate), Tempura Fried Fish Burgers (Tailspin), Housemade Veggie Burgers (Unlawful Falafel and Fussy Farsi), as well as Fried Eggplant and Asparagus fries. 

Carnivores, Vegans, and Vegetarians are all welcomed here. Many of their food items are also Halal-Certified.
