Spencer Dinwiddie Officially Declares Himself A Free Agent | Brooklyn Nets

It would appear Spencer Dinwiddie is gone. The underrated backup point injured his ACL around Christmas of last season was expected to make a return in the finals. Unfortunately the Nets weren’t able to make it that far into the playoffs. Spencer has been extremely transparent on his position and situation on his pending free agency for quite some time now. Him opting to explore the market and seek higher value doesn’t come as much of a shock to Brooklyn fans. An intelligent playmaker capable of creating his own offense will be well sought after the NBA free agent market. This leaves another void in the Brooklyn Nets roster that’s needs to be addressed in the off-season. Will Brooklyn say with veteran Mike James and fan favorite Chiozza? This remains to be seen.
