Since in the literal middle of the season, Aldridge was the replacement for the loss of Jarrett Allen. DeAndre Jordan appeared to be a step slow on the defensive end Blake Griffin was coming off the bench at the time. Unfortunately within around a week LaMarcus Aldridge would retire from the sport all together because of health complications with his heart.
