Are you craving tacos? I tried Red Pepper Taqueria in Buckhead. Red Pepper is one place where the party keeps going. I love going here on a Taco Tuesday. This is the perfect spot for hanging out with friends or letting your hair down after work over specialty margaritas and handcrafted tacos.
Keep reading to learn what I tried at Red Pepper Taqueria. I started with the Fried Lobster Tail that came with a honey dip. Then, the Fajita skillet loaded with veggies, rice, black beans, guacamole, warm tortillas, and protein of your choice (chicken, shrimp, steak, or barbacoa). I choose shrimp. Next, it was time for the Taco Stand full of handcrafted tacos served on warm flour tortillas. My favorite was the Taco Gringo taco full of ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and panela cheese. I also enjoyed the carne asada taco that had grilled steak, pickled onions, cilantro, and guajillo salsa. The grilled chicken taco dripping with tomatoes, cilantro, and salsa verde was pretty tasty too. My grand finale was the queso dip with chorizo and mushrooms. I added jalapenos to my queso dip to take the spice level up a notch. I sipped on the Red Pepper Margarita that had one hundred percent blue agave tequila and Red Pepper's own margarita and lime juice.
Here are some features to look forward to at Red Pepper Taqueria. On Saturdays and Sundays, they have bottomless mimosas until 4pm. Monday through Friday appetizers are half off from 4 pm until 6 pm at Red Pepper. On Wednesdays, nachos are 7.50, and bottles of wine are half off. Thre are also live games playing on large, flat-screen televisions. Red Pepper Taqueria has locations in Buckhead, Brookhaven, and Decatur, and the newest location is in Dunwoody, Georgia.
