Well, how to say this? I definitely have a love-hate relationship with romantic dinners. However, Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar has been that prince charming in a world full of idiots, and yes, I mean the restaurant industry in Seattle. Let's start with the basics, Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar is not a cheap place. In fact, it is the kind of place where you take your partner to impress him and ask him to move in with you, or where you would take your clients to convince them to sign a new contract. Either way, it is a very classy restaurant, with different atmospheres to choose from when making a reservation.
The Fireside Room is probably the best place in the restaurant, if, although it is cliché, everyone loves to revel in the warm and private atmosphere offered by the fireplace. It is an ideal option for reservations if you are going to celebrate with your family, your wedding reception, or when you want to meet your friends. The Fireside Room has a capacity of up to 40 people, and 100 for receptions. There are also other options such as the Civica, Seastar, and the Great Room & West Patio. It will depend on your preferences (and bank account.) Food is the strong point of this restaurant, without a doubt. Obviously, you're not going to get Pizza or Tacos at Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar, but the best Crab Bisque in all of Seattle. I recommend the king salmon or the cedar plank salmon. You can't go wrong ordering one of those two. Finally, when the waiter brings the bill, try not to have a heart attack and give him your credit card. That is what I did. Despite the high prices, Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar is a good option to enjoy delicious seafood without suffering from food poisoning (as in many other restaurants in Bellevue.) So if you want to have a romantic dinner, or plan a family or corporate event, Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar should be your first option.
