A top Orange County tech firm is now on SpaceX supplier list: New partnership set for hit in space

SDOC News

Valence Surface Technologies, a leading provider of aerospace surface treatments, has proudly announced that its Orange County facility has been added to SpaceX's Approved Suppliers list. This addition is great news for Valence and underscores the company's unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest quality, safety, and performance standards.

Valence Garden Grove, located in Garden Grove, specializes in metal finishings and offers product finishing services for space and communication systems, including anodizing, plating, NDT, shot peening, painting, and more. Valence's hard coat anodizing process, which SpaceX approves, is one of the most notable processes offered by the company.

Valence uses anodizing to create a long-lasting, sturdy surface on aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. Their hard coat anodizing method produces a thicker and harder coating than regular anodizing, which makes the metal more resistant to wear and corrosion. This process ensures that Valence's hard coat anodizing is a reliable and effective way to protect metal substrates and extend their lifespan.

Valence has also achieved approval from SpaceX for its various coatings and Non-Destructive Testing techniques. This accomplishment reflects Valence Garden Grove's continuous pursuit of excellence in mission-critical coatings. Justin Crumley, the General Manager, expressed his pride in being included in SpaceX's Approved Suppliers List and credited his team's commitment to quality and innovation.
