AARP says the new Driver Safety Course saves money on your insurance- Bring a friend to brush up on old skills this June

Are you looking to improve your driving skills and save money on car insurance? Look no further than the AARP Driver Safety Course, now available in San Diego!

The AARP Smart DriverTM classroom course offers drivers of all ages the opportunity to refresh their defensive driving skills and knowledge of the rules of the road. This two-day course will refresh your understanding of taking left turns, yielding the right-of-way, and navigating roundabouts. You will also learn various proven driving strategies to keep you and your family safe while driving.

The class will be held on June 6-7 at the San Diego Information Center from 9 am to 1 pm. There are two sessions, one per day. The address is 4075 30th Street, San Diego, CA 92104.

A second class will be held on June 27-28 at the Rancho Bernardo Senior Services Center. The course will run from 9 am to 1 pm. The address is 16769 Bernardo Center Dr., San Diego, CA 92128.

Both class sessions must be completed to receive a DMV participation certificate.

AARP members can register for the class for a discounted rate of $20 by providing their AARP membership number. Non-members may register for $25. Free parking is available during the event.
