Paddling is one of the amazing activity to partake in. It is carried out on one of the park’s natural resources by canoe or kayak, and surprisingly on the Withlacoochee River said to be located at the west bank approximately ten mile east from the park.
The Withlacoochee River originates in central Florida’s green swamp. Flowing between west and north, the River is said to empty itself into the Gulf of Mexico and is 141 miles long with a drainage basin of 1,170 square miles.
