Madison Blue Spring Park makes incredible provision for tourists, allowing them explore and engaging in a couple of recreational activities some of which include birding, fishing, paddling, scuba diving, swimming and a lot more.

Paddling is one of the amazing activity to partake in. It is carried out on one of the park’s natural resources by canoe or kayak, and surprisingly on the Withlacoochee River said to be located at the west bank approximately ten mile east from the park.

The Withlacoochee River originates in central Florida’s green swamp. Flowing between west and north, the River is said to empty itself into the Gulf of Mexico and is 141 miles long with a drainage basin of 1,170 square miles. A superb spot for relaxing and even meditating. Visitors are also allowed to launch their privately owned canoe or kayak. We do love good things, and this is one right here.

Have you ever scuba dived? If not, then you certainly are at the right place. The park contains one of the largest cave system making it one of the favorite destinations for divers from all around the globe. As expected, there are rules to follow to ensure the safety of everyone. Some of which are, prohibition of water diving, proof of cavern certification, artifacts, plants and animals must neither be disturbed nor moved and to mention a few. Places that consider peoples safety should be top notch and Madison Blue Spring State Park extremely raises that bar.
