La Jolla Bluefin Tuna on the Tady 45 Surface Iron | San Diego Fishing 2021

I was very blessed and grateful to be able to fish La Jolla San Diego California when the bluefin tuna came in close to shore. We spent the day chasing down foamers on my friend Shane's Grady White boat before finally in the evening time was able to hook into a 60lb bluefin tuna by casting a mint colored Tady 45 surface iron into the middle of a heavy foaming school of tunas and reel in the bluefin on my Avet LX raptor reel with 80lb braid mainline and 60lb mono leader on a Shimano Terez 50lb-100lb rod.
