A Testimony To How Determination Can Lead You To The Way Ahead!

A few years ago, I had a neighbor, Emily, with whom I developed quite a good friendship. I soon found out that ever since childhood, Emily wanted to study and pursue her goals. She came to Seattle from a small village to complete her studies and adopt the profession of teaching. Unfortunately, most of her village girls used to leave their studies and their careers, which made her upset. She was from a very few girls of her village who got to pursue their careers. She came from a below-average background and wanted to be a teacher. She attempted to play her role by educating others, and soon after graduating, she joined a school where she worked happily for five years. But then things took a turn, and her life as well. The school went into a financial crisis, and they were about to fire her, but she stayed there because she loved her job and decided to work even with limited pay.

Almost a year passed, the management changed, and new people came to administer the school. She had a hardworking and polite nature, and being praised by the principal always made other staff jealous of her. The staff used to increase the workload on her to annoy her so that she leaves the place. However, she didn’t lose hope and carried on with her work. Due to her hard work, the principal recognized her efforts and selected her as the school coordinator. This is when she also realized her potentials and started getting certifications and specializations in the field. Her experience helped her a lot. She didn’t care about what others said and kept herself determined and consistent. A few months later, when the school inaugurated another branch, she was appointed as its principal. It was all because of the hard work and efforts she put in over the years. Her story made me realize that you must be determined to play your part no matter how circumstances change. The day definitely comes when you get paid off for what you did. Being consistently hardworking is the key.
