If you're planning on going pumpkin picking or planning on exploring a corn maze, this weekend is one of the last opportunities you have to do so before the season ends. Below are 3 of the upcoming events in the county, listed.
Lancaster Cemetery Fall Fest
Sounds creepy, right? This event will definitely give you all the Halloween vibes. Some of the activities that are featured are pumpkin decorations, a spooky photo scavenger hunt, tailgating games, and jump on a ground tour of the cemetery. As it gets dark, you can make s’mores by the fire pit.
All proceeds from Lancaster Cemetery Fall Fest will benefit The Lancaster Cemetery non-profit in preserving, maintaining, and promoting the historic grounds and caretaker house.
The event will take place on October 23 from 2 pm to 7 pm at 205 East Lemon Street, Lancaster, PA.
Lancaster Pride was created to celebrate LGBTQ+ individuals within the county. Over time, they have grown to become a premier festival in Central Pennsylvania with 5,000 attendees each year. As a non-profit organization, they seek to engage and enrich the community while raising awareness of issues affecting LGBTQ+ individuals in Lancaster.
Proof of full vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event
is required for all attendees, vendors, volunteers, and performers.
Lancaster Pride was scheduled to have their festival a few weeks ago, but postponed it to this upcoming weekend due to the high numbers of COVID-19 cases earlier this year.
