Live music at the Tempe Marketplace District Stage

TEMPE, AZ — Tempe Marketplace presents live music at The District Stage every Friday and Saturday evening from 6 to 9 p.m starting on August 13. Familiar bands with various genres will be featured for a limited number of audiences.

Here is the list of performers that will be on stage this August:

1. Cygnill on August 13

This lifelong guitarist specializes in blending different genres to create his own unique music style. From jazz, reggae, rock to hip hop, this musician has entertained more than 16,000 people on stage with his original music and guitar improvisation.

2. Tracing Faces on August 14

This energetic band consists of vocalist Cole Maurer, lead guitarist Chris Fallon, bassist Parker Olszak, and drummer Cole Thomas. Their best-known music genre is indie alternative rock and pop.

3. Frosty & The Silver Tones on August 20

Frosty & The Silver Tones are famous for their high-energy rock and roll style combined with the swing element of blues. These gifted performers have recently released their official album and gained positive reviews.

4. Come Back Buddy on August 21

This rock and roll band consists of Mike & Janine Randall and Don Rinehart and is inspired by the famous “Buddy Holly and the Crickets.” This trio specializes in performing 50s music from Buddy Holly to Elvis Presley.

5. Wide Awake on August 27

Wide Awake is a local band that specializes in the music of U2. Their energy and passion will lift the spirit of the audience, especially U2 enthusiasts.

6. New Philosophy on August 28

Last but not least is this rock, folk, and jazz local music band featuring Drummer Daniel Villanueva, Bassist Al Mora, and Guitarists Michael & Angel Villanueva. Their blended music genre creates enjoyable combos for audiences.
