Former comedian Alex T. Wolf fired from WK Media Group after homophobic remarks resurfaced from emails sent in 2020.
Chicago, CT- Controversial teen comedian fired from WK Media Group after six complaints were filed against Alex T. Wolf on Monday in Chicago, Illinois by three individuals from Macon County, who alleged Mr. Wolf verbally abused them on more than one occasion, with homophobic and sexist remarks.
The President of WK Media Group, Richard Melvin, issued a statement earlier this morning to the public, "Homophobic remarks accompanied by prolonged verbal and mental abuse has crossed the line. It is not what WK Media Group stands for or supports. And that is why with regret I decided this morning that we will not be continuing our contract with Alex."
Wolf has been in trouble before for behavior and remarks deemed "offensive" and "provocative." Just last year Wolf was given a final warning by WK leadership, after an incident in 2020 with a reporter, where Wolf allegedly called the female reporter a "blithering c*nt" after a heated interview at the Illini Club in Springfield, Illinois.
After that incident, on July 21st, 2020, Wolf released an apology statement on his Facebook page stating, "If you listen really carefully during that interview it does appear that I actually used the word that I actually was trying to refrain from using. I was mortified by my verbal action against that female reporter and I deeply apologized for the remarks that I made that day."
Alex Wolf has not yet publicly commented on his termination from WK Media Group.
The victims' lawyer, Paul Robins, commented this morning on Alex Wolf's termination from the media group stating, "Alex Wolf is an artful pathological liar, who has cheated his way through his entertainment career in Chicago. He has yet to apologize to his victims who are still recovering from the abuse that he placed upon them."
